University Behavioral Center, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS), is committed to providing intensive mental health services to children, adolescents and adults as well as detox and substance abuse programs for adults. Our mental health facility provides safe and effective inpatient treatment to assist individuals in leading more productive and fulfilling lives. The facility is located on a beautiful 14-acre campus in Orlando, Florida, and includes 112 licensed beds.

The Lead Program Therapist performs social services and psychotherapy functions to include assisting Therapists in meeting their program goals. This position is a member of the Social Services Department. This position coordinates with clinical staff and provides support and feedback in accordance with: the established standards of care, regulations, hospital policy and the goals of individual staff members and/or patients. The Lead Therapist performs leadership duties to support program development for the hospital as well as the professional development of each therapist. This position also provides support to and coverage for social services and therapy needs of the hospital. This position will provide individual and group clinical supervision for associate licensed clinicians on staff.

Qualifications

Education: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university.

Experience: A minimum of three (3) years experience in behavioral health, with direct experience in family, group, and individual therapy, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills preferred.

License: LSCW required.
