West Oaks Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Interim Assistant Chief Nursing Officer to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals. The Interim Assistant Director of Nursing will share responsibility for the overall quality of the nursing care delivered in the facility through planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of delivery systems. The Assistant Director of Nursing will also assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards; will act as the nursing administration representative at meetings and task forces as assigned and serves as Director of Nursing in his/her absence.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Monitors nursing care to ensure compliance with standards.
• Assists with recruitment, retention and hiring activities.
• Evaluates performance of supervisory staff.
• Facilitates system changes to improve patient care.
• Coordinates performance Improvement Activities.
• Serves on committees and task forces as assigned.
