Intake/Admissions Registered Nurse (RN) - PRN

We are currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) to work PRN in the Intake/Admissions department for both day shift and night shift (Let us know which shift you prefer in the interview.) The RN promotes a therapeutic milieu and provides quality patient care. Collaborates with Clinical Services and other departments to accomplish the treatment goals of Turning Point. Our Intake/Admissions RNs work with potential patients, referral sources, and medical providers over the phone and with new patients in person.

• Processing patient admissions
• Patient assessments
• Review of patient records
• Obtaining admission approvals

PRN day shift work from 7:00am to 7:00pm and night shift work from 7:00pm to 7:00am. Both shifts are eligible for shift differentials.

• Experience in substance abuse / mental health treatment, preferred.
• Understanding of commercial and Medicare insurances 
• Knowledge of patient level of care requirements
• Licensed by the State of Georgia (good standing)
• BLS/CPR Certified
