SCREENING FOR THIS POSITION WILL CONTINUE UNTIL THE JOB HAS BEEN FILLED
Wage Range: $18-21.00/hour
Performs a variety of tasks such as sweeping and washing floors. Keeps refrigerators, freezers and storeroom clean and neat. Conducts daily cleaning of ranges, carts, pots, pans, and all other food service equipment. Will work in dishwashing and food service area. Performs food preparation tasks as assigned by the Food Service Manager. Assembles floor supply items as requested and delivers food trays and supplies to the appropriate units.

QualificationsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
SKILLS:
Must read, write and be able to follow oral and written instructions in English. Must know how to clean various surfaces and kinds of equipment. Must have knowledge and abilities in handling equipment and simple food preparation tasks. Knowledge of standards of attractive food service and high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and neatness. Ability to work a variety of shifts.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
Requires High School diploma or equivalent (GED) and six months food service experience.
STAFF DEVELOPMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Must meet or exceed hospital and regulatory agency training requirements.
