Position Summary Highlights

• Provides administrative supervision and direction for acute clinicians, therapists, recreational therapists, teachers and interns throughout the hospital. 
• Collaborates with nursing leadership and physicians to provide clinical programming and a therapeutic milieu for patients.
• Serves as a liaison between clinical staff and referring agencies in ensuring provision of quality care and promoting the hospital’s reputation as a premier provider of inpatient psychiatric care.

Licensure Requirement:

Fully Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in North Carolina

Physical requirements:

Light Work – Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for sedentary work. Even though the weight lifted may be only a negligible amount, a job is rated light work when it requires: (1) walking or standing to a significant degree; (2) sitting most of the time while pushing or pulling arm or leg controls; or (3) working at a production rate pace while constantly pushing or pulling materials even though the weight of the materials is negligible.
