Education: | Minimum: High School Diploma or GED (preferred), or equivalent combination education and experience |
Experience: | 3-5 Year’s experience working as a cook. |
License/Certification: | Food handler permit preferred |
Skills: | Must be familiar with inventorying, cooking by recipes, quantity cooking and following written procedures. Food handling and sanitation. |
Physical Requirements: | Stands and walks most of the day. Handles and manipulates equipment. Stoops and reaches for equipment. Lifts and carries food and kitchen equipment (up to 50 lbs.). Tastes and smells food to determine quality. |
Other: | Performs others duties as may be assigned by Director of Dietary/ Nutrition Services. |
