Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in various clinical tasks. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the well-being of patients and gain valuable experience in a medical setting.

Responsibilities:
- Perform vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rate measurements
- Assist with patient examinations and procedures under the supervision of healthcare professionals
- Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and collect specimens as required
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Perform basic laboratory tests and accurately record results
- Assist with patient education by providing information on medications, procedures, and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient patient flow and optimal patient care

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is highly desirable
- Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Knowledge of coding procedures and medical billing practices
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is an asset
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic life support (BLS) certification is required
