Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled IT Online EventTechnician to join our team. As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our employees. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and troubleshooting our online Registration site, audio visual, computer systems and networks.

Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, both remotely and in person
- Provide technical support to employees regarding computer systems, software applications, and network connectivity
- Set up and maintain user accounts and permissions
- Perform regular system backups and ensure data integrity
- Assist with network administration tasks, including monitoring network performance and troubleshooting network connectivity issues
- Collaborate with other IT team members to implement system upgrades and enhancements
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry

Requirements:

At least five years of IT desktop/support experience, web content management, troubleshooting and resolving software issues, with three years’ experience in online website/registration systems and virtual platforms. Must be knowledgeable in FISMA and ATO reporting requirements.

- Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and network administration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems (Windows 10, Windows Server)
- Experience in providing IT support and excellent customer service
- Basic understanding of VPNs (Virtual Private Networks) and Meraki networking devices
- Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Note: This is a paid position.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $27.15 - $32.70 per hour
