Responsibilities
Determine cause of malfunction through the use of test equipment, test drives, service information (bulletins) and information supplied by customers
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
Test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Review vehicle history files
Maintain regular attendance at shop meetings
Keep work areas clean and organized
Return Company tools to designated areas daily
Maintain required production levels 100-110%
Qualifications
Ability to work well with others
A desire to do tasks correctly the first time
Goal oriented
Technical training
Certification or any previous experience in a related position
Professional attitude and capable of working with customers
Maintain a clean and neat personal appearance
Must be able to perform all required functions of this position
Must have a valid Illinois driver's license and an acceptable driving record
Hours:
Monday - Friday 7:30AM until 4:00PM
Saturday - 7:00AM until 12:00PM (once per month)
