As part of a diverse and skilled Technology Service Delivery team, you will be tasked with analyzing the company’s operating applications to provide optimal performance and integration of resources supporting the technological environment. Infrastructure & automation focused person who wants to help create automation across the organization. Proactively analyzes performance, maintains efficiency, and resolves problems. Required to understand different operational techniques and have a high level of attention to detail. The accuracy of processing is of utmost importance followed by speed. Consistently deliver results that meet or exceed expectations & understands how the business operates and suggests changes to improve the process.


Knowledge and Skill

  • Ability to identify and create solutions with automation
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Demonstrate quick learning ability on technical and business domain areas
  • Ability to learn multiple RPA tools
  • Working knowledge of security practices relating to servers and infrastructure
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of standard operating systems


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Strong ability to create, improve, drive automation
  • Responsible for the implementation of actionable monitoring solutions, ensuring high availability
  • Provide hands-on and remote troubleshooting and problem resolution
  • Drive efforts to proactively identify automation opportunities to improve availability and efficiency
  • Complete projects, coordinate with team members and provide status updates
  • Stay current on security-related issues and analyze the impact on UFS; making recommendations for security management and monitoring processes
  • Meet and/or exceed the set productivity targets
  • Participate in ad-hoc operational projects/initiatives
  • Understand organizational operational and strategic goals related to automation and efficiency
  • Follow standard operating procedures as prescribed and provide inputs to improve the process
  • Works with business stakeholders to deliver on operational tasks/projects
  • Align with organizational change management philosophy
  • Understand and follow Process Maturity and Documentation organization standards
  • Ability to collaborate with others and communicate with non-technical subject matters experts
  • Other duties as assigned


Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or similar experience
  • 2-4 years’ experience in automation
  • Understands scripting using common scripting tools
  • DevOps/Cloud experience
  • MS SQL experience
  • Previous experience in the banking industry a plus
  • Desire to continually improve and contribute to our Purpose of Empowering Community Banks and our People to Thrive – Together


Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, usually waist high, up to 50 feet away. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

  • Typical office environment
  • Travel – Approx 5%
