Job Summary

General Labor- Maintenance is responsible for performing maintenance services and repairs to general production area. LOTO on presses, maintain presses, machinery, paint line and other duties given from Maintenance Supervisor.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Works under general supervision; relies on experience and general instructions to perform the functions of the job.
• Performs regular, preventative maintenance on production equipment.
• Assists in repairs including presses, paint line, and other general labor to maintain the flow of production.
• Uses hand tools and other small machinery to perform duties.
• Orders supplies and parts when directed by supervisor.
• Performs regular, preventative maintenance on all machinery, equipment, tools.
• Maintains records of repair and maintenance activities
• Performs duties consistent with established safety rules and procedures.
• Maintains work area clean and organized.
• Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma
• Minimum 3 years of formal on-the-job training in general maintenance
• Working knowledge of safe equipment practices and applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of hazardous wage and hazardous material handling procedures and practices.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to stand and walk all day.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
