Provides skilled nursing interventions in the treatment of the patient illness, rehabilitative needs and preventative care. Utilizes the holistic approach in the provision of problem-specific therapeutic interventions, teaching and training activities in accordance with the plan of care. Problem-specific interventions oriented to achieving outcomes are reflected in his/her ongoing documentation. Responsible for applying professional knowledge and skills in accordance with accepted standards of clinical practice to facilitate problem resolutions and the achievement of individualized patient goals and outcomes. Practices under the direction and supervision of the registered nurse to proactively meet the needs of and assist the patient in the achievement of individualized, defined and measurable outcomes.

Must successfully pass an AHCA Level 2 screening for this position.
