Performs the technical duties in the processing of enteral nutrition products so that patients receive the exact formulation ordered by the physician according to the time frames outlined in the policy in compliance with Infection Control policies.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Two-year degree or further training in nutrition/dietetics preferred.
• Two years of clerical or foodservice experience required.
• Health care experience preferred.
• Prefer one year experience in a formula room environment.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be familiar with sanitary practices, principles and methods of formula preparation.
• Must be accurate in mathematical calculations and measurements of materials for preparation of formulas.
