Responsible for ensuring all staff perform daily assigned duties; ensuring all orders are delivered on time and in appropriate carts/pallets, etc.; order receipts are closed; troubleshooting department issues; training new employees; distributing daily back order report; completing departmental customer rounds; and summarizing daily activities to leaders. Other responsibilities include maintaining adequate, non-expired product and supplies in clinical and non-clinical par-serviced areas. Utilizes point-of-use (POU) inventory system to accurately inventory, replenish and maintain supplies in all par-serviced areas. Performs quality assurance audits on par locations to meet The Joint Commission (TJC) standards at all times. Serves as an active team participant in minimizing overstock outdates and stock-outs by communicating with leadership. Utilizes Supply Chain Services best practice processes established and communicated by department leadership to carry out job functions. Serves as a customer service representative as needed. Assists in maintaining and distributing critical care equipment (crash cart, airway box, etc.). Assists Supply Chain Core Services with supply backorder and recall management. Works in various hospital locations, to include inpatient and outpatient clinical departments, procedural areas and any other area as determined by Supply Chain and hospital leadership.

Employees in this position will operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a "non-frequent driver."
NOTE: A frequent driver is defined as one who uses his/her personal or Shands automobile a) at least once daily, b) at least five individual trips per week or c) drives, on average, over 150 miles per week in the performance of his/her job.
