Gathers pertinent patient information so patients can be scheduled, verified/authorized and pre-registered prior to initiation of rehab services. Assists with verifying insurance or other third-party coverage, obtaining pre-certification, coordinating financial issues with internal and external departments, and resolving or referring non-financial concerns of the patient to the appropriate department or agency. Enters data into computer systems.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

• Graduate from high school or equivalent.
• Computer skills necessary including, but not limited to, word processing.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical setting preferred.
• Experience in a rehab setting preferred.
