Has primary oversight for perioperative business services, preoperative clinics, special projects, strategic planning and operational leadership support. Provides administrative and analytical support to the Associate Vice President, Perioperative Services and the Directors of Perioperative Services.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

• Master's degree in nursing, health care administration or MBA is required.
• No less than 5 years of preoperative nursing and/or operational leadership experience is preferred. Experience should include the application of quality improvement principles and shared governance, as well as communicating effectively with medical and hospital staff, both orally and in writing.
• Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate ideas with poise and professional appearance; work independently; analyze, synthesize and organize information/data; and provide accurate and timely work product.
• Must be able to lead multidisciplinary teams and execute plans.
• Must be proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of evidence-based medicine tools, such as guidelines, clinical pathways and protocols.
• Must be able to demonstrate skills in creating vision, effective change management and facilitating transitions.
