Provide direction and support to the leadership, HR staff, and employees within the hospital's overall employee relations' philosophy and mission. Design, plan and implement the company's labor relations programs, policies and procedures, including all union contracts while establishing and maintaining satisfactory labor/management relations. Act as a consultant to proactively address union/nonunion employee relations issues.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree

Business or related field.
Required Licensure/Certifications:

Preferred Licensure/Certifications:
PHR or SPHR
Required Experience:
3 years management experience -AND- Over 5 years Human Resources Generalist experience including working in a union environment.

Necessary Skills:
1. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
2. Must possess working knowledge of applicable federal and state laws governing employee/labor relations.
3. Good understanding and application of the art of negotiation.
4. Demonstrated time management, impartiality, objectivity, effective decision making and judgment resulting in effective employee relations outcomes.
