Under the direction of the director, utilizes the nursing process, facilitates patient care by making nursing assessments and diagnoses, formulates care plans based on the diagnoses, and implements and evaluates the plan of care.

Education:

• Diploma/associate's degree

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• Florida registered nurse license
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIH Stroke Scale

Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required:

• Leadership skills
• Should attend hospital training programs, including New Manager/Supervisor orientation and Leadership Development courses.
• Must be able to read, write in, speak and understand English.
