DUTIESJOB SUMMARY:
- Write and manage documents. Coordinate review and comment incorporation
- Maintain Project Server and document configuration
- Develop and review supporting spreadsheets
- Track progress and monitor status vs. schedule. Coordinate meetings
- Involvement with risk analysis, sensitivity analysis, external review coordination, management review coordination, NNSA review coordination, technology readiness assessments, and TMP development
- Participate on program/project teams affecting execution of strategic program priorities
- Support initiatives focused on strategic programmatic or tactical execution issue resolution
- Maintain awareness of and contribute to schedules, performance monitoring status, and management reports
- Provide timely feedback and recommended solutions to management to improve or mitigate problems affecting execution and coordination between multiple sites
- Provide written and verbal analysis and recommendations to management
- Identify effective solutions, including implementing requirements
- A 40-hour work week is scheduled. SRS utilizes various work schedules, including 5/8s (8 hours/day; five days per week), 4/10s (10 hours/day; four days per week), and a 9/80s (9 hours/day, five days on week A and 4 days on week B). Work week excludes SRNS holidays. Each workday has a 30-minute lunch. Work hours in excess of forty hours a week may be required, as authorized by SRNS management
- Travel to partner sites (LANL, WIPP, PANTEX) may be required
- Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” security clearance. Supplier shall possess a positive FOCI determination from DOE which includes “Q” security clearance level. An active DOE clearance is not initially required to perform assigned duties while clearance request is processing. After award, the selected candidate will be notified when to apply for a clearance based on specific work assignments. Candidates who have possessed an active DOE clearance (“L” or “Q”) within the past two years are preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training/experience.
- 8 years supporting projects/programs
- 1 to 5 years in a management role.
- Experience in Life Cycle Cost Estimate development.
- Experience in Plutonium processing.
- Baseline development, control, reporting, and change control process support.
- Familiarity with administrative and technical procedures, practices, and processes affecting programmatic and facility activities.
- Ability to perform financial/cost analysis, organizational analysis, performance data gathering, project administration, assessment support.
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience with multiple integrated projects and programs.
- Effective use of computer software including word processing, email, spreadsheets, power point, and databases.
- Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” security clearance
- US Citizenship Required
