Remote Support Specialist
Job Type: Full Time 
Location: Pittsfield, MA
Position Overview:
The Remote Support Specialist offers initial and ongoing support to members enrolled within Remote Support Services (RSS) according to the care plan.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Read and sign off on member care plans, maintain emergency contacts & medication lists
  • Attend intake & installation meetings for remote support members
  • Provide ongoing technology education and awareness
  • Hold on-call cell phone for managing missed vendor check-in calls
  • Coordinate with staff delivering in-home supports and update electronic health records
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements & agency policies
  • Report issues with remote equipment & participate in investigations as needed
  • Represent the organization positively within the community & maintain professional communication with stakeholders
Qualifications:
  • At least 18 years of age with High School Diploma
  • 1 year of human service experience
  • Comfortable with technology and remote applications (ex. Zoom, teams, Microsoft Office, etc.)
  • Ability to learn new systems and software
  • Ability to maintain composure and respond appropriately in an emergency response situation
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed
  • Must have an acceptable CORI, SORI, DPPC background check
  • A valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and the availability of a private vehicle
