United Cerebral Palsy of Long Island is a not for profit company based in Hauppauge, currently seeking to bring on a Staff Accountant. Responsibilities Prepares/inputs journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation; Maintains numerous state and county funding grants and their expenditures; compares budgets to actual expenses and explains variances; completes year end account analysis for audit; completes year end schedules for state reports; maintains fixed assets schedules; completes monthly fringe analysis schedule; miscellaneous schedules needed for management; assist in annual audit and CFR preparation; 1099 preparation Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting; strong Excel skills a must; 3-5 years experience; Non-Profit or OPWDD experience strongly preferred; Great Plains a plus Generous paid time off including four weeks vacation; medical/dental; pension and 403b plan United Cerebral Palsy of Long Island is an equal opportunity employer
