We are looking for an Assistant Director of Residential Services to assist in the supervision and oversight of OPWDD residential services located in Suffolk County

A successful candidate will:

• have a strong working knowledge of IRA and ICF regulations and the ability to create a team environment while maintaining the overall direction and coordination of residential services.
• will directly supervise Residential Program Supervisors.
• work with program supervisors, residential management, direct support professionals and the clinical team to create a safe and enriching home environment for the people we serve.
• make recommendations to Director of Residential Services relative to hiring, terminations, and/or personnel changes in the program.
• attend and participate in management /staff meetings.
• assist the Director of Residential Services in budget preparation.
• will have administrative supervision and operation of the Residential program in the absence of the Director of Residential Services.
• will be on 24 hour call 7 days a week.
• will perform all other duties that may be assigned by the Director of Residential Services.

Bachelor's Degree, supervisory experience and minimum of one year OPWDD experience required.
