DescriptionAs a Laboratory Technician 2 at the BURL Outreach Clinical Laboratory in Calabasas, you will play a vital role in supporting laboratory operations and providing high-quality phlebotomy services. Your duties will include: • Perform phlebotomy on patients of all ages. • Prepare specimens for analysis. • Assist in coordination of couriers and routes, including follow-ups on service delays. • Triage all lab samples and requests after verification of appropriate information. • Enter and verify patient and test info into computer. • Generate computer labels for specimens and deliver to appropriate areas. • Prepare samples for transport to referral labs or storage. • Document draws, added tests, and cancelled/rejected specimens. • Provide coverage as necessary to other draw stations. Salary Range: $32.77 - $43.22/hour
