UCM Community Connect provides independent providers and healthcare organizations with a unified and integrated patient record to support patient care, while leveraging the shared resources and expertise of an experienced Epic organization such as UCM.

The Community Connect IT Manager is Responsible for managing a team of application analysts through connect implementations and support.

Essential Job Functions:

• Manage a team of 10 analysts responsible for implementation and maintenance of UCM’s connect offering
• Mentor and coach staff and conduct performance evaluations
• Partner with Project Manager(s) in delivering Community Connect Implementations
• Adhere to connect program budget, project deadlines and overall goals
• Maintain the community connect business plan, pricing model and offerings, under general direction from senior IT leadership
• Prepare estimates for add on applications including cost, staffing and timeline
• Build and maintain strong relationships with the connect customer community
• Facilitate governance meetings to review, approve and prioritize enhancement requests
• Adhere to standard project management and governance methodologies established by the Project Management Office (PMO).
• Maintain a high aptitude in Epic software, Implementation methodologies and Maintenance standards

Required Qualifications: 

• BS or BA degree in computer science, business, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience supervising application analysts
• Minimum 8 years of experience in implementing and maintaining Epic applications
• Able to lead and direct an application team with varying certifications
• Experience coaching and mentoring staff
• Thrive in a matrix management environment
• Highly knowledgeable in application implementation lifecycle
• Able to effectively prioritize and organize tasks to meet demanding timelines
• Issue tracking and resolution skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to lead group discussions with strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills

 Preferred Qualifications: 

• Certification in Epic Cadence, Ambulatory and/or Professional Billing applications
• PMP Certification
• Post graduate degree
