Scientific and technological advances that improve our understanding and efficient use of water are critical. We explore new (electro)catalytic materials and reaction pathways for the direct decomposition of pollutants as well as to create reactive species in water with potential use in remediation. In this project we will explore the stability of catalytic metal complexes on porous conductive oxide electrodes in order to maximize the utility of surfaces engineered for water remediation.
