SummaryDirects, plans and coordinates all functions and activities of engineering, plant operations and landscaping for multiple facilities and campuses across the UCHealth region to achieve quality improvement, fiscal, productivity and patient satisfaction goals assuring quality on a 24-hour basis.
ResponsibilitiesDevelops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the administrative, legal and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • 5 years of relevant experience.
