Job Title: Dell Experienced Computer Repair Technician

Salary: Hourly pay, starting at $16 - $17 per hour uncapped bonuses and commissions, with the potential to earn approximately an extra $800 per month through bonuses and commissions.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and resolve hardware and software problems efficiently, specializing in Dell computer systems
• Provide timely solutions to technical issues faced by customers, ensuring minimal downtime
• Explain complex technical concepts related to Dell systems in a simple, non-technical manner
• Offer recommendations for problem resolution specific to Dell products
• Provide repair and replacement estimates to customers, maintaining transparency throughout the process
• Ensure that all repairs meet or exceed Dell's quality standards
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and fixes for future reference and quality assurance purposes
• Greet customers warmly and maintain a positive work environment
• Answer phone calls professionally and courteously, addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly
• Exceed customer expectations by delivering superior service tailored to Dell products
• Keep track of all Dell devices and safeguard store stock effectively
• Utilize the point-of-sale system to maintain real-time customer information and repair status for Dell products
• Set up Dell hardware, install and configure software and drivers according to Dell specifications
• Maintain and repair Dell technological equipment and peripheral devices with precision

Qualifications:

• Proven technical expertise in repairing Dell hardware and software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Experience in soldering preferred but not required
• Familiarity with internet security and data privacy principles as they relate to Dell systems
• Outstanding customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
• Strong written and oral communication abilities
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
• Maintain cleanliness of the store at all times to uphold professional standards

Preferred Qualifications:

• A Certification or equivalent
• Wise Certification or similar industry-recognized certifications
• Experience repairing electronics, smartphones, PC/MACs, and game consoles
• Technical degree or certification in Electronics or Consumer Electronics
• Previous experience working at a retail electronics store, preferably with Dell products
• Flexibility for variable retail schedules
• Ability to pass background checks including criminal record, driving record, and drug test screening
