Job Description

The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for improving the product and UX and contributing to our goal of simplifying IT. We are looking for a motivated individual to chart the future of Ubiquiti products. A critical thinker who will proactively enhance the UX through internal audits, and participation in process improvement programs. You will be overseeing the various projects that Ubiquiti is currently working on. You will also be working closely with the Technical Support and Software Development teams, bridging the gap between the two teams to ensure that the projects are on track and that the deadlines are met. You will be responsible for developing effective communication plans and ensuring that the processes are continuously improving which helps in enhancing the brand narrative. 

You will need to have a proven track record of managing projects and a passion for working with Technology teams. You should be hands on with QA testing and performing UX audits.

Responsibilities:

• Improve product quality and create an intuitive UI/UX to help enhance the brand narrative
• Evaluate Ubiquiti products yourself to look for UX improvement Opportunities
• Find and put forward upstream solutions by reproducing customer symptoms in your product lab
• Analyse & audit procedures to detect bottlenecks and mitigate the same
• Recommend, implement, and monitor preventative and corrective actions to maintain quality assurance standards
• Liason with the product development team and the technical support team
• Take quick action on analytical reports and suggest an action plan
• Serve as the ‘voice of customer’ by evaluating day-to-day support
• Look for opportunities to improve our products
• Perform external research to support potential updates to our products
• Identify potential risks before they become a problem, focusing on root cause analysis and preventive action
• Perform internal and external quality audits and compile detailed reports of findings
• Develop a detailed plan to monitor and track the progress of the plan
• Coordinating with cross-discipline team members 
• Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information
• Maintain technical alignment with key stakeholders
• Manage relationships between Support teams
• Perform risk management analysis to reduce project risks
• Report and escalate to upper management as and when needed
• Create and maintain a comprehensive project documentation
• Possess a high-level understanding of Networking/IT
• Coordinating the development of user manuals, training materials, and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering
• 5 years' relevant work experience
