As a Warehouse Operator II, you will be trusted to perform a combination of manual and clerical shipping and/or receiving duties, requiring the use of hand trucks, forklifts, and other devices, as well as computers to maintain data at our Manufacturing Facility in Houston, TX! In this role, a typical day will include: Performing accurate and quick pick of inventory from warehouse shelves, as well as scanning inventory into warehouse stock using software and handheld scanner to record transactions. Operating a variety of warehouse handling equipment such as forklift trucks and other machinery. Inspecting inventory for defects and damages during inventory picking. Ensuring that all picking transactions for the day are completed and meet productivity requirement. Conducting quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. Maintaining warehouse arrangements and enhancing space utilization to accommodate current stock. Following and maintaining safety standards while performing job functions. Maintaining clean work area and warehouse. Possibly, training new hires on warehouse picking process and method.
