Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll/HR Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As a Payroll/HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of bi-weekly payroll for our growing organization. This is a vital role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of payroll processes and regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for employees using our accounting software and payroll system
- Collect and verify timesheets, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Calculate wages, deductions, and overtime based on employee hours worked
- Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposit statements to employees
- Maintain accurate records of employee information, including tax withholding, benefits deductions, and garnishments
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues or errors
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters
- Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee data in the HRIS system
- Assist with month-end and year-end payroll reporting requirements
- Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll regulations and compliance requirements

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Payroll Coordinator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, regulations, and best practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as UKG Ulti Pro or Kronos
- Familiarity with HRIS systems for data management
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.67 - $26.09 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 42 per week
