The IT Business Analyst intern will assist the IT department in gathering, documenting, and analyzing business requirements in support of assigned projects. This role may also participate in the development and execution of Quality Assurance test cases in support of defined requirements.
Essential Job Functions:

• Assist in the analysis of application requirements and solution design
• Participate in software development activities
• Perform testing and bug remediation tasks
• Complete assigned administrative activities

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

• Candidate must have a high school diploma and be enrolled in a college degree program in one of the aforementioned fields of study: Computer Science (CS), Management of Information Systems (MIS), or other IT related degree program
• Strong foundation in IT principles, practices, and technologies
• Strong technical aptitude and analytical skills with the ability to think critically
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Captures, documents, and conducts analyses of business requirements and objectives
