About the Role:

U.S. Pipe is seeking a Production Associate to join our team. Performs miscellaneous laborer work and fills in on production and maintenance jobs throughout the plant as assigned.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Helps with unloading of incoming materials.
  • Fills in on production or maintenance jobs when required in any department replacing absentees, vacations, etc.
  • Serves as a relief person to relieve regular employees for work and lunch breaks.
  • Performs general plant clean-up work.
  • Responsible for good housekeeping in any work area assigned.
  • Must be able to help remove scrap, slag, sand and all other debris in area.
  • Responsible for positioning equipment back in proper place.
  • Must be able to recognize defective equipment and appropriately report defects to Supervision.
  • Must be able to work in both hot and cold environments.
  • Must be able to practice safe work procedures and comply with applicable safety rules and regulations in a heavy industrial environment.

Qualifications:

  • Must have 12 months manufacturing experience
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
