Job Description

Looking for Advanced Practice Providers (PA or NP) to join our growing Physiatry group in New York! Ideal candidates would be team players with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members. This role would be in the post-acute rehabilitation environment, primarily in the skilled nursing facility setting.

Objective

To enhance the functional ability and quality of life of patients by medical optimization while formulating a customized rehabilitative program.

- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions
- Provide patient education on preventive care, disease management, and treatment options - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans

- Prescribe medications and other treatments as needed
- Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of medical conditions to accurately document patient information

Qualifications:
- Part-Time with the opportunity to go Full-Time.

- Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistants license in the state of New York

- Strong clinical skills and ability to assess, diagnose, and treat patients independently
- Experience in senior care and working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems for accurate documentation

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
