- Interact with patients and families
- Taking vitals
- Collect a variety of different urine specimens and perform typical office-based lab tests
- Phlebotomy skills
- Bladder Ultrasounds (can be trained, not required)
- Assist with procedures such as a cystoscopy and circumsions
- Set up sterile field and hand Physician instruments
- Set up and input caths and take caths out (this can be trained, not required)
- 2 years of Medical Assistant experience. (You do not have to have Urology experience)
- High School Diploma
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work in a very fast paced environment
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background
