What to Expect

  • Operates a personal computer (PC) and peripheral equipment to produce a variety of correspondences, and screens all incoming telephone calls, determining those, which can be answered, and those, which must be referred.
  • Makes arrangements for meetings including space and time and notifies those who are to attend of the topics to be discussed.
  • Responsible for typing complex statistical reports, budget spreadsheets, financial statements, directives from handwritten drafts or oral instructions in accordance with available guidelines and instructions by utilizing a personal computer.
  • Responsible for correct spelling, punctuation, and proofreading of typed materials.
  • This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs may be required.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

What are we looking for?

  • Must have at least one year experience working knowledge of a PC with peripheral equipment and Microsoft software or similar integrated software program.
  • A working knowledge of word processing databases spreadsheets, and graphics utilization and implementation.
  • Verifiable experience in the performance of a variety of clerical duties, such as typing, filing, record keeping, etc.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Must have the ability to deal with issues associated with military lifestyles.
