US Intermodal, Inc. is an Intermodal transportation company. We are contracted by various railroads.
Job: Driver, Hostler Driver, Shag Driver, Jockey driver
Duties:
-Training begins on the ground working in coordination with the operator to help unlock and lock IBC mechanisms on trains
-Must be able to climb trains, utilize ladders, lock and unlock IBCs
-Learn how to operate hostler trucks while shagging 20 ft, 40ft, 53 ft trailers around the rail yard.
-Park containers in an organized manner while maintaining a safe work environment.
-Strong communication skills
*Must pass a Drug test
*Must pass a background check
Pay is based on experience in the Intermodal industry.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $17.00 per hour
