OVERVIEW
The Case Management Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of supervising a team of case managers providing culturally and linguistically appropriate, comprehensive case management services to adult foreign national survivors of trafficking. It is expected that the Supervisor will supervise a team of 4-8 case managers. The Case Management Supervisor reports to the Associate Director of Trafficking Services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and supervise staff providing case management services to adult foreign national victims of trafficking;
  • Direct and coordinate case management services for foreign national survivors of trafficking;
  • Ensure compliance with program requirements, including ensuring that all appropriate documentation is kept in case record;
  • Coordinate and conduct training and onboarding of new staff;
  • Provide ongoing leadership, direction, development, coaching, counseling, oversight and support to staff to ensure social work best practices;
  • Identify partnership opportunities and conduct strategic outreach to local service providers to raise awareness and enhance existing support networks to children and families;
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with key stakeholders; and
  • Other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Masters of Social Work or an equivalent advanced degree in a behavioral science (e.g., education, psychology, sociology) or social services field with 3 years of progressive experience in the fields listed above; an outstanding candidate who holds a bachelor’s degree in social work, a behavioral science, or a social services field and who also has at least 5 years of progressive experience that demonstrates both supervisory and case management experience may be considered;
  • Experience providing case management services to foreign national survivors of trafficking;
  • Excellent judgment and leadership ability; must be able to make independent decisions which ensure that outstanding services are being provided within necessary timeframes, and that the team and team members are complying with all required policies and procedures;
  • Extensive knowledge of community resources, particularly for individuals without legal status;
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, insurance, a clean driving record, and personal transportation;
  • Ability to prioritize duties independently, think strategically, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment;
  • Supervisory experience is highly preferred;
  • Fluency in Spanish;
  • Dedication to the human rights of refugees, immigrants, asylum seekers and displaced people;
  • Candidate must pass a criminal background check;
  • Demonstrated support of USCRI’s values by exhibiting respect for others, maintenance of confidential information and an appreciation of a multicultural workplace

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
  • Satisfactory completion of USCRI’s Orientation and Training;
  • Satisfactory completion of programmatic training on an annual basis;
  • Complete additional training as identified by supervisor or Human Resources.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Use of repetitive motion, prolonged periods of sitting and standing, and sustained visual and mental applications and demands;
  • Occasional lifting (up to 25 pounds), bending, pulling, and carrying; and
  • Quantitative/mathematical ability (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, standard measurements).
