You’ll love coming to work every day if you get, want, and have the capacity to provide the following:

  • Company-related activities:
    • Have mastery of federal and state regulations as well as company policies and procedures
    • Develop clinical and operational training materials
    • Assist in promoting the company to potential external referral partners
    • Maintain communication with active referral partners
    • Serve as the primary link between senior management and frontline staff
    • Communicate staff and client-related needs to senior management
    • Provide referrals to external organizations
    • Participate in leadership team meetings
    • Complete reports
    • Facilitate federal and state inspections
  • Staff-related activities:
    • Provide staff oversight, training, develop, and management
    • Teach, consult, coach, and mentor staff as well as be a role model
    • Provide training and support on the use of the company’s various IT systems
    • Review and approve clinical documentation and staff timesheets
    • Complete performance reviews
    • Implement disciplinary actions
    • Conduct and attend staff, supervision, and company meetings
    • Provide board-required supervisee/resident supervision, if certified
  • Client-related activities:
    • Complete client intakes, assessments, orientations, service plans, and authorization requests
    • Facilitate and provide the following PHP and IOP group session elements, as needed
      • Individual, group, and family therapy
      • Group substance use counseling
      • Health literacy counseling
      • Skill restoration and development
      • Psychoeducational activities
      • Motivational interviewing
      • Enhancement and engagement strategies
      • Occupational, recreational, and other therapies directly or by referral
      • Case management and care coordination
      • Crisis intervention
      • Session documentation
    • Be an advocate for clients

Accepted Qualifications:

  • Credentialed Addiction Treatment Professionals with any of the following registration or license types with the appropriate Virginia Board: 
    • Addiction-credentialed Physician or Physician with experience or training in addiction medicine
    • Physician Extenders with experience or training in addiction medicine
    • Licensed Psychiatrist
    • Licensed Clinical Psychologist
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker
    • Licensed Professional Counselor
    • Registered Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist
    • Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
    • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
    • Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner
    • Residents under supervision of a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner and registered with the Virginia Board of Counseling
    • Residents in Psychology under supervision of a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and registered with the Virginia Board of Psychology
    • Supervisees in social work under the supervision of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and registered with the Virginia Board of Social Work
  • A minimum of two years of experience supervising staff in a behavioral health setting

Schedule:

  • Full time or Part time available
  • Monday thru Friday
