About the team
The Server Delivery and Lifecycle team is responsible for delivering physical and virtual workloads within U.S. Bank’s on-prem environment. The ideal candidate will exhibit both technical ability and a growth mindset to develop transformational technologies to meet the current and future needs of U.S. Bank.
What you will do
Install, configure, and maintain Redhat and SuSe Linux servers in an enterprise environment.
Design, develop and improve Linux solutions for U.S. Bank and its customers
Engineer and configure consistent, stable, supportable, and highly available IT solutions that meet the needs of Infrastructure and Services.
Collaborate with multiple teams to provide U.S. Bank IT solutions on developing designs, integration of services, and architecting IT systems
Cooperate with support teams to drive best-in-class automation, increasing stability, and decreasing downtime.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
At least 5 years of experience within a total information technology (IT) environment
At least 10 years of experience with the design, development and support of technology infrastructure
Preferred Skills/Experience:
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
