Job Description

Drive penetration of Treasury Management services forward for U.S. Bank! We’re looking for a dynamic customer solution professional with deep experience in the procure to pay process who can facilitate expeditious movement along the sales cycle from client interest to commitment to buy by actively engaging and advising clients on technical and product solutions in the large corporate and commercial markets.

Our AP Automation Solution delivers industry-leading, end-to-end payables automation capabilities from ERP integration to invoice management and workflow and a best-in-class supplier network. Reporting to the Technical Solutions Product Head, you would be one of a team of national sales engineers 100% focused on AP client engagement in support of our Treasury Management Consultants.

This position supports the sale and implementation of selected technical or complex products, services and solutions. Is responsible for displaying a comprehensive understanding of the technical aspects of our company's products and services and how they integrate into the customer's operations, consistent with a bundled or solution oriented approach to obtaining new business. Builds customer confidence in our company's technical solutions, and addresses all technical objections/concerns from prospective customers throughout the sales cycle. Functional responsibilities may include pre-proposal discussions with potential customers either in person or via conference call, developing and delivering customized client proposals, demonstrations and presentations, consulting in technical sales strategy for customers, assisting in proposal preparation, pricing recommendations and implementation support, and training sales team with product technical details.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated success in building internal and external relationships and providing deep technical and product/process expertise. The individual will also engage with product management teams to deliver continuous improvement on sales tools and materials, ensuring US Bank can put its best foot forward on every deal.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Ten or more years of related experience, preferably in selling multiple, complex integrated solutions to a variety of customers
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Demonstrated consultative, solutions-based selling background and experience
- Proficient technical and analytical acumen
- Specialized knowledge of products and solutions in primary area of responsibility as well as related products and solutions offered by other business lines
- Expert proficiency demonstrating complex/software based solutions
- Proficient in working effectively with a variety of function groups to assemble customer solutions
- Excellent presentation, training, verbal and written communication skills

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $135,150.00 - $159,000.00 - $174,900.00Job postings typically remain open for approximately 20 days of the posting date listed above, however the job posting may be closed earlier should it be determined the position is no longer required due to business need.
