University of Louisville Physicians  is seeking a dynamic physician to join our hospitalist team, located in Louisville, KY.

Job Details : The Hospitalist, at the University of Louisville Hospital, will serve as the liaison between the emergency department, administration, medical staff, and nursing. The Hospitalist will work closely with the UofL Department of Emergency Medicine, EDH Team APPs, UofL Physicians Leadership, specialty groups, and hospital administration.

EDH Team Features: 4 Physician FTEs, and FT APP coverage. Program: 7 on/7 off Schedule. Monthly Director stipend or time buy down. EMR: Cerner and Patient Keeper. Enjoy a collaborative partnership with the APP team and your emergency medicine colleagues.

Candidate Profile : Candidates must be an M.D. or DO. and Board Certified in Internal Medicine or family medicine. Candidate must have proven clinical, and metrics driven leadership experience. Observation Medicine experience preferred.

Compensation : This position delivers an excellent compensation package. Base salary with RVU incentive.
Facility Information : The University of Louisville Hospital (ULH) is a 404 bed, primary adult teaching hospital for the UofL, SOM. This acute-care tertiary facility is the regions only Level 1 adult trauma center, comprehensive stroke center and adult burn unit. The emergency medicine department has 43 patient treatment areas in a 30,000 sq. ft. space with an annual census of around 50,000 patients.
