Are you a seasoned warehouse professional with a knack for efficient operations and team leadership? U-Build-it Aluminum is seeking a dynamic and experienced Warehouse Lead to join our team. As a key player in our logistics and operations department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our warehouse facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping/receiving, and maintaining optimal stock levels.

2. Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse associates to achieve productivity goals and maintain high standards of performance.

3. Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance overall efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.

4. Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, conduct regular safety training sessions, and maintain a safe working environment for all warehouse staff.

5. Inventory Control: Implement and maintain robust inventory control systems to minimize discrepancies, losses, and optimize stock levels.

6. Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to coordinate deliveries, resolve issues, and ensure timely replenishment of inventory.

7. Technology Integration: Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant technologies to streamline operations and enhance accuracy.

8. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts, equipment and report any issues to the maintenance department.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in warehouse management or a related field.
• Proven experience as a forklift operator.
• Valid forklift operator certification.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
• In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
