We are seeking a positive and enthusiastic educator with proven leadership skills to join a collaborative administrative team as the Director of Special Services at U-32 Middle & High School.The Director will provide direction and oversight, in collaboration with other members of the U-32 Administrative Leadership Team for the school wide delivery system of special education and special support services. The Coordinator will work closely with the district Director of Special Services and the Principal in providing school-wide leadership, supervision, and administrative management duties for special education students and staff and promote cooperation and sharing between the school and the community. Must be able to work creatively and collaboratively to create an environment that invites respect for all persons, provides a sense of fairness, and practices commitment to inclusion and diversity.The 700 student, 7-12 school is located on a beautiful hill-top campus in Central Vermont.
