Job Details: Description: This position is responsible for operating machinery and maintaining production flow while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing and pulling and reaching are required to include work on ladders. This position works in a cold, damp to hot and humid environment, and slippery surfaces. Refrigeration experience preferred. Good communication with management and all departments. Position Specific: Must have 12 months continuous work history with a single employer Applicants will be considered for Refrigeration type opening on 1st Shift to monitor, maintain, and operate refrigeration systems. Refrigeration is responsible for some electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatics, and welding jobs in the plant. Tend chilled water, working with chiller operator. Must know boiler room and prepare self for boiler operator’s license. Maintain good documentation. Will be required to pass respirator physical examination and training. Maintain respirator certification at all times. Have or be able to obtain boiler operator’s license. Must be able to handle extreme temperature changes. Other duties as assigned. A background check will be required.
