This job posting is for our Formulation floor on 2nd shift that runs 7 days a week. Team members work a rotational schedule of 4 days one week and 3 days the following week with the potential to work additional hours.

Work hours are generally 1 : 40 p.m. to approximately 11 : 00 p.m. / midnight. The base rate of pay is $20.70 / hour, plus a shift premium of $1.

00 / hour. Team members must be willing to work overtime and weekends, as needed. This position is eligible for overtime pay.

Job Responsibilities :

• Assists Raw Product Flow Operator with keeping the frozen grinder full of meat.
• Ensures all loads being received are individually weighed from supplier prior to making labels
• Makes sure each combo has accurate label with weight, Establishment Number, and cut date
• Ensures the product being offloaded is received in using the correct EIM and Safety Chain procedures
• Ensures that each load contains combos on pallets
• Performs inspections to ensure all loads being offloaded meet standards set forth by the QA Department
• Ensures the trailer seal matches what is on the bill
• All team members are responsible for safety, including but not limited to, personal safety and food safety
• Complies with all company and USDA policies / guidelines and reports known or suspected violations
• Attends monthly and annual required training (e.g., Safety, HACCP, HR topics, LOTO, PIT)
• Performs other duties, as assigned

Job Requirements :

• At least three (3) months of relevant operator experience with one or a combination of employers
• At least four (4) months of continuous employment with one employer in the past two (2) years
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred, but not required
• Forklift / Mule / PIT experience preferred, but not required, as training and certification is provided) - required to become forklift certified within 30 days of starting position
• Basic computer skills to navigate systems and perform data entry
• Experience with inventory control methods preferredAbility to record information using company-provided forms and procedures
• Ability to accurately perform math functions : addition, subtraction, multiplication, division
• Ability to report to work as scheduled and work scheduled hours to meet job expectations, have flexibility to work other jobs, as needed, and work weekends and overtime, as needed
• Ability to work professionally and respectfully with others while demonstrating positive interpersonal skills, and communicates effectively with all team members and management
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness
• Ability to identify, act with a sense of urgency, and resolve problems / inconsistencies, getting help from management or others, as needed
• Requires standing, walking, bending, stooping, twisting, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching above, below, and at shoulder level
• Must be able to use both arms / hands and legs / feet to operate forklifts or electric pallet and hand jacksAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 60 lbs.
