Description

• SUMMARY : This position is responsible for working with livestock hogs which includes but is not limited to; Driving sorting weighing tattooing marking and penning of livestock while keeping accurate inventories and head counts;
• performing light building maintenance and showcase duties when not working with the livestock. This position requires moving hogs safely and effectively with minimum stress to the hog;

must follow all humane handling guidelines as per policy; perform any other duties deemed appropriate by the supervisor.

All Tyson Team Members are responsible for safety. This includes but is not limited to personal safety and food safety.

REQUIREMENTS :

Education : High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience : A minimum of one 1 year prior experience working with and handling livestock in loading and unloading operations as well as experience with skid loaders and forklift operation is required.

Computer Skills : Basic computer knowledge is preferred.

Communication Skills : Good communication skills both written and verbal; ability to communicate with all levels of team members and government officials.

Special Skills : Must be able to work in a very fast paced environment.

Physical Requirements : Ability to lift 70 pounds or more unassisted and stand for extended periods of time 8 to 10 hours excluding beak time.
