This position starts at $21.65 / hr. with a shift increase for second and third shift and potential for overtime. We have an open position for first shift.

Job Description

Set up equipment in preparation for startup, and responsible for removing tender from hog as close to the bone as possible, and removing fat from the tender of pork hogs, while also being able to adhere to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies.

Requirements

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

• Must have the ability to complete work cycles in less than 20 seconds.
• Monitor production area for trash and food debris on floor. Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead person, Supervisor or Superintendent.
• Must be able to lift / carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work on and around machinery and chemicals.
• Must clean up area at end of production shift, including but not limited to sweeping, picking up debris from the floor, and spraying work areas.
• Must be able to perform the following task for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.
• Must be able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours.

Must have 6 months work history in the past 3 years to be considered. Must not have been terminated from previous employer for attendance or job abandonment.
