We currently have an opportunity to join our team at our brand new, fully automated distribution centre in Lawrence, IN as a maintenance technician. Already an industry leader in automation we provide state of the art distribution solutions to a network of clients in the retail, production and logistics sectors and have continued to grow rapidly both across the US and on a global scale. In this position you will play a major role in keeping the site running at peak performance by completing preventative maintenance, responding to machine breakdowns, and being involved in continuous improvement projects across the site.

The Role:

• Panama 2,2,3
• Carrying out continuous improvement, planned, reactive and project-based maintenance across the site.
• Electrically you will be using PLC systems to fault find, while troubleshooting sensors, inverters, drives, motors, and control panels.
• Mechanical responsibilities include reading and interpreting assembly drawings, hydraulic, pneumatic, chains, belts, gearboxes maintenance, as well as stripping, overhauling, and rebuilding machinery.
• General care and housekeeping of machinery and work areas.

Your Experience:

• Working with sensors, inverters, drives, motors, control panels and associated control systems.
• Experience using a Profinet system.
• Fault finding on PLC systems.
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics.
• Reading and interpreting assembly drawings.
• Hydraulic & pneumatic work.
• Working with chains, belts, and gearboxes.
• Strip, overhaul and rebuild of machinery.
• Reporting on work orders and inputting breakdown information using a CMMS system
• Experience carrying out Root Cause Analysis using a known methodology.
