Duties/Essential Job Functions:

Work on national PR strategy tactics and ideas, alongside content team and manager, while brainstorming and creating local pitches and resources for franchises to use locally
Upload news releases to corporate websites and manage website press centers
Draft and update press release templates franchises can customize and promote in their local markets
Collaborate with content team, developing PR opportunities or press releases based on monthly and quarterly content themes
Collaborate with content marketing coordinator to promote national TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® news and press releases via social or blog channels as needed; assist with creation of blog posts as needed
Lead and coordinate Movers for Moms® system-wide annual campaign for the franchise system. This includes planning and working with outside vendor for promotional kit creation and costs, creating and hosting webinar trainings for franchises, writing internal and external communications regarding details of the campaign, managing post content on the Facebook page, and creating all program resources for franchises to use when running local campaigns in their markets.
Support handling of media inquiries, determining value for the brand including story placement, guest blogging and social media opportunities as needed
Provide training documents and present PR and cause marketing best practices to internal teams during system-wide and marketing training events
Manage and seek out partnerships with social media influencers in order to grow brand presence in new, creative ways

Education or Equivalent Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations or other relevant program preferred; or combination of education and relevant experience as pertains to job duties.
1-3 years’ experience in social media, media, or public relations
