TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is Hiring an Operations Manager Near Eustis, FL
- Promote and protect the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK brand
- Determine staffing requirements, interview, hire, and oversee new employee onboarding and training
- Oversee truck maintenance, care, and longevity of all moving trucks and service vehicles
- Uphold a strong safety culture; update and implement all safety practices, policies, and procedures
- Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement; determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement
- Responsible for employee development, corrective action programs, and accountability and adherence to franchise and system standards and policies
- Assist with workers compensation and unemployment claims
- Coordinate and direct the fleet maintenance and equipment inventory programs
- Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and FMCSA guidelines
- Handle customer concerns and oversee the damage resolution process
- Responsible for being the “on-call” emergency contact outside of normal business hours
- Participate in regular training and development programs offered through STICK MEN UNIVERSITY® to further the knowledge of the system
- Actively participate in community, industry or other relevant associations
- All other duties as assigned
- Previous management experience required
- Sales experience appreciated
- Understanding of recruiting and retention practices
- Extensive experience in fleet maintenance and transportation
- Excellent oral and written comprehension and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead by example to motivate, develop, and direct people
- Ability to assess the performance of self, employees, and franchise to make improvements or take corrective action
- Strong decision making ability
- Understanding of and commitment to customer service and the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK core values
- Friendly and professional personality
- Strong mental focus and attention to detail
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Strong team player who works productively with a wide range of people and personalities
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Must be proficient with the following Microsoft applications: Outlook, Word, Excel
